Say what? Okay so we’re a week late.. We took pictures on Tuesday and Sweet Baby turned 8 months old last Monday! We have had a BUSY week! Last Tuesday was our first professional photoshoot and Daddy’s birthday! Our first fever/cold and even our first Easter!
We went to a local photographer Christine, of Two Leaf Photography. Christine was super sweet and just a pleasure to have her take Mikaylee’s first pictures! While the picture quality was great – we wish we could have had some smiling ones!.. Mikaylee had just woken up and really wasn’t in the mood for a photo shoot so we saw some facial expressions that we’ve never even seen – she wasn’t too happy so most of them were crying and smiling because we would make her laugh. I think we’ll definitely do it again – but not until she’s old enough to smile on cue ![:)]()
Then of course it was Daddy’s Birthday! We did lots of fun things with daddy and Mikaylee gave him a cute little card and gift – he loved it! We gave him a little gag gift with skittles saying “because after every rainfall or cloudy day, you’re the rainbow making it all okay” Daddy is our rock! We went to Baskin Robin’s and had their little frozen cakes – so yummy! We ended the day off with our favorite, a Carvel Birthday Cake. Baby girl was pretty confused about the song – can you believe we’ll be singing it for her in under 4 months?!
On Friday we got our first cold and fever along with it. My poor sweet baby girl has so much boogers and doesn’t like when mommy wants to take them.. poor baby ![:(]()
Oh and of course we took some updated month photos! Sweet Baby girl is all over! It’s so hard to get her to sit still to take pictures, but we have fun trying ![:)]()

Breastmilk ice pop saves the day! Teething, and I think we’ll have the top teeth soon! I still can’t believe she can sit up on her own! When did my baby get so big?
She is still loving her Noggin Stik, one of her favorite toys along with a bunch of Tiny Love stuff.
We couldn’t get her to stay laying down for too long – so we thought we’d end with an even better treat – She absolutely LOVES baby signing time!
We don’t watch the DVD as often as I’d want to but we listen to the CD in the car all the time -
